I’m wireframing the product list of an e-commerce app and I need some help. The client requested a horizontal card layout with all the necessary content above… It’s a lot of information to say the least…
Could you please give me some input how could I improve the layout of the card?
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I am currently working on a senior project redesigning a website from scratch and developing it, and wanted to top it all up with a good deck presentation.
The same way I use land book and mobbin for web/mobile, I am wondering if there is a source for deck presentations? Can I find actual deck presentation companies have used?
TIA

I am an Information Designer and UI/UX and I am writing a blog on color for my work. A colleague has already covered color theory, palettes, and touched on general tips for accessibility and branding. What are other topics that I can cover? Ideally, I'd love to write from experience and help designers answer questions on color.

I am building a weather/ pollution mapping dashboard in python using primarily the panel library, but I am unsure about the placement of the widgets, It should be noted that the leftmost dropdown boxes correspond to the weather plots, and the rightmost correspond to the rightmost graph.
While the slider does work with the wind rose, to represent changes in wind direction over time, i want it to eventually change data represented in the currently empty map plots shown in the centre of the panel.
I am requesting advice on placement of all of these widgets, I cant help but feel like without ..read more

Hello, I'm in the market for a monitor for UI/UX design. I've been using my LG Ultragear so far, but this was a monitor I got for gaming a couple of years back and I don't really know if it's suited for UI design.
Just to be clear, while recommendations are appreciated, I'm not asking just for that. I'm asking about what I should be looking for in a monitor. What specs matter and why? I don't really know much about things regarding 4K, OLED, etc. it's all pretty foreign, and while I have done some research into specific questions, I'm not entirely sure I understand what actually provides valu ..read more

Alright its probably a stupid question but here we go:
Why do video players have a volume slider?
For some reason those sliders dissapeared for a few days because of some error in my adblocker and I realized that I just don't need them. They're just clutter.
It just seems redundant to the main OS one. You won't be able to (losslessly) go above the system wide max volume. It is not like being more "precise" in your volume control matters or is ever supported by the integrated volume slider.
Wouldn't it be more convenient to just let the OS handle it, the user will always be more familiar in ho ..read more

Hello, I hope this post doesn't bother anyone.
I feel sloppy and like I lack good taste in design. I can recognize well-designed work, but I struggle to create it myself. I also think I have some spatial awareness issues; it's like I can't "see" things clearly.
I spoke with a senior designer who advised me to "just stick to UX" after seeing some of my presentations, which left me feeling embarrassed.
I’ve been sticking to templates because I’m worried about doing something terrible
I really want to improve. I've been practicing by copying designs, which has helped a bit, and I've bought a UI ..read more

Hey all,
Are there any communities/channels for UI design that do weekly or monthly challenges like #Inktober or similar?
Cheers.
I looked through the wiki but didn't find any resource that felt close to what I'm looking for.
