King Charles III is set to visit a cancer treatment center with his wife, Queen Camilla, on Tuesday to mark his return to public-facing duties after receiving treatment and recuperating following his cancer diagnosis, Buckingham Palace said Friday.
The Palace announced in February that the King, 75, had been diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer. The cancer was discovered after a hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement. The King postponed public-facing duties while he was undergoing treatment.

HANOI, Vietnam — The head of Vietnam’s parliament has resigned, according to state media, making him the latest senior member of government to leave office amid an ongoing anti-corruption campaign that’s shaken the country’s political and business elites.

To curb the use of U.S.-made civilian guns in crimes and human rights abuses abroad, the Biden administration will require exporters to better vet their customers and tighten sales to 36 countries deemed “high-risk” for illicit diversion of semiautomatic firearms, according to people briefed on the plan.

LONDON — Two military horses that bolted and ran miles through the streets of London after being spooked by construction noise and tossing their riders were in serious condition after undergoing operations, a U.K. government official said Thursday.

The sails of Paris’ iconic Moulin Rouge windmill have collapsed overnight for the first time in the 134 year history of the cabaret club.
The accident is believed to have occurred at 2 a.m. local time, less than an hour after the venue’s last show had ended, according to the club owners. There is no further risk of collapse, Paris firefighters have said.
