I bought the D-Max for no other reason but to use it as a tow vehicle and it has done that job very well over the past 10 years.
If I sell the van I have no reason for keeping the D-Max and we would go back to one one vehicle ..read more

The battery reduces in capacity as it ages so if you get 400k on a charge when new it will be lesser as it ages!

Obviously EV is not for everybody but i think it fits my future use quiet well.

Just an update.
Bought the new AC clutch from Cool CAR - Campbelltown ($150), and just changed the front clutch plate (the part that gets pulled in by the magnet and rubs on the pulley) - 1 x 8mm bolt and 10 minutes time.

Quick update. so did some more testing and the clutch engages, but the rubber section that joins the clutch to the compressor shaft has let go, (see photos), i assume the rubber is to dampen the shock load when you turn on the AC when the motor is doin ..read more
