I currently have a 97 Rodeo Dana 44 in my Amigo. I have broken one of the axle shafts and was looking for Chromoly shafts, which I haven't been able to find, stock replacements seem to been troublesome to locate also. Anyone know of a source for either type of axle or a cross over for the Dana 44 axle? Just seems like there should be another Dana 44 axle assemble that would use the same axle. Thanks ..read more

In my 4x4 conversion, I am considering to just keeping the dually rear axle, brakes and etc from the NPR (5.13 ratio). This has a wheel bolt pattern of 6 bolt x 8.75 inch. Does anyone know if there is an adapter from a dana 60 to dually of this bolt pattern. I searched a lot but have not found such an animal. I know I could just use both axles out of a dually Chevrolet, and then stick with the 8 bolt, but wanted to check the option to keep the NPR rear axle and 6 Lug wheels ..read more

Hi, I'm working on a project to build a NPR 4x4. I have read about a few here. The truck I have has a 4l80e transmission 2wd. I'm trying to find a good recommendation for a adapter and transfer case. Ridgerock does this conversion as a service, and their website says they use a Dana 60 front axle and a NP271f transfer case. HI Dougal, its been a long while. I hope you are still on this forum. I'm looking to turbo a 6BG1 engine from an old Isuzu F truck. I'm having trouble finding anyone who has knowledge of this engine, and wondered if you know of a turbo that would work to give good low to mid power/torque increase (30%ish). When looking at the 6BB1 and 6BD1 conversions around the place it seems that the Garrett T04E12 has been used.
