Hello again! So in the midst of fixing the crankshaft oil seal retainer leak that I have, I pulled the engine out and dropped the pan to get the retainer out. Well I did that and was cleaning the pan and out dropped one of the piston skirts for #1 and some metal shavings. Oh no. So I pulled the head off and looked at the cylinder walls. I am having an crank no start issue with my 90 trooper. I have many post on here relating to that. I saw a post on here about someone having the same issue. One thing they tried was removing the engine relay while the ignition was on. when they did this the heater blower started to run. It was not working also. I have the same issue. I tried the same procedure. I got the same result. There was no replies with that post and no updates about what was done to the vehicle after that. I am coming up to doing the front end rebuild; brakes, steering, suspension (shocks are done) and axle. Slight leakage at the rack ends but nothing really measurable from the fluid reservoir. I would like take care of this while I have better access and don't want to get caught later. I'm looking at the pump at this time as well. Hey guys, I have a 2003 Isuzu Rodeo with the 3.2V6 and the Aisin Warner automatic transmission, having the shift on the fly 4x4 system with the dash mounted knob. I bought the car recently and the check 4WD light was on. I reset the TCCM as stated on threads on here. That cleared the light and now the transfer case is working properly. When I drive forward in 2H, the propellor shaft remains stationary. When I drive forward in 4H and 4L, the prop shaft turns as it should. My conclusion is... 2003 Rodeo 4WD Issue ..read more

Purchased 2002 Japanese Isuzu Rodeo (3. 1 Td) looks to have same tod system as trooper or axiom Tod and 4 low will not engage, the wheel lights just flash continuously green and after driving with either selected the red "check tod" When parked in neutral I can hear the transfer case click when selecting 4 low and can confirm the front propeller goes from a free spinning state to locked but the front axle doesn't connect on the actuator . getting my lokka for the front of my 94 rodeo (someday...soon, I have a tracking number from lokka if that is worth a damn to their zero communication). Kinda been searching around the web trying to find an answer to if I should swap out my auto hubs for manual. My auto hubs have always worked with no issues other than having the cv clip pop off once. The ol rodeo will see almost no street, will be on dirt most all of the time. in 2wd with the lunchbox locker cause the hubs to engage and...
