There’s a difference between the people who experience a thing and those who take that thing and use it to transform their lives. •This happens in Effiji Breathwork… •This happened when I owned a healing center and witnessed other teachers and students… •And this happened as I traveled around the country working in different metaphysical type places.  Some people transform and other people don’t.  What I noticed is that the people who transformed had daily practices and a teacher. They were consciously working on retooling how they were implementing their realizations.  One ..read more

The work of Effiji Trauma Release is a three step process. Effiji Breathwork is used to reconnect to the mainframe computer. It’s a soul activation. When you do Efffiji Breathwork, you reconnect with who you really are separate from trauma. Step 2 is active trauma release. This actually begins in the breathwork and deepens the more breathing you do. During this step we also add personal guidance, insight and feedback for you so you can see how trauma has configured your energy. We can see that in the way you breathe. And we show you so you understand. With that awareness, you are in a pos ..read more

Inhale and Exhale
Effiji Breath Blog

There is an inhale and there is an exhale. They belong together. The inhale is the preparation, and the exhale is the release. The inhale is the upbeat and the exhale is the downbeat.  Our community breath is the inhale. It is the Soul Activation which is the preparation for the exhale, which is Trauma Release. One of the many reasons Effiji focuses on the inhale is because that in-breath is taking in the qi or life-force of the universe; without which the exhale isn’t powerful enough to release trauma.  There are many breathing techniques when you consider inhale ..read more

Dealing with Your Blindspot

That mirror on the side of your car allows you to see into your blind spot. It’s what prevents you from getting into an accident and it’s your ability to look into yourself that prevents you from crashing your life.  Your mind is your blind spot.  The same mind you use to solve most of life’s problems is also the one filtering everything through the lens of past traumatic events. It’s like you need glasses to see but you don’t know it. You think how you see it is the way it is.  The mind is designed to see in a way that will keep you safe and is therefore always o ..read more

Getting To The Black Box

Elijah One fellow in our recent two-day Trauma Release, who I’ll call Sam, started with us many years ago. He did the breathwork and got a lot of tingling and sensation, what’s known as Tetany. He stopped getting it after a while, which is common. During the pandemic, we were running 40 classes a week like a yoga studio with many facilitators and he came to a class almost every day. He never got the tingling or tetany. It felt good, but it wasn’t trauma release work.  In all my years of knowing Sam, this was his first foray into an immersion. He shared many personal and professional ..read more

You Breathe All Day But Don’t Even Think About it

Elijah Breathing is a metaphor for your life. Your lungs are like a car with both manual and automatic. You too can live on automatic or manual. It’s up to you.  We know that no one achieves their life’s purpose without some self-examination. Self examination will make you more aware and more alive.  When we use breathwork to release trauma, it is because we are taking this tool, both automatic and manual, and using it to manually make you aware of yourself. And to force up the hidden trauma ruling your life.  An animal can breathe, but doesn’t choose to breathe. You can br ..read more

Getting What You Need and Want

Elijah The profundity of what happens during our trauma release programs is difficult to describe. Asking for testimonials puts people on their best behavior and it can feel manufactured and perhaps even ruin the purity of what someone went through by getting them to distill it. That’s why we don’t ask them. Instead, I’ll share a short story… I met Tom last year when he came to several of our free Community Trauma Release sessions. We also exchanged many messages on our forum. He disappeared for a while and then came back again. Tom has done a lot of work, is maybe slightly cynical, also ..read more

Elijah Working with people in the way I do is like walking a tightrope between two polarities.  My job is to bring the shadow into light so you can clear trauma and be healed. To do that, I have to be careful and create a safe space. I want you to feel supported and nurtured. I also have to make sure that you do the work you need to do. That means breathing full, the one thing that stirs up all this crazy shit and brings it to the surface seems like the one thing you should stop doing. I’m there so you don’t stop. Yes, it’s very intense. The fuller you breathe, the more intense it ge ..read more

Wake Up! Your Life Is NOW

Elijah Why do people wait to live with purpose and intensity? I never understood that. I never did even while raising kids and other things.  I want so much out of my life and work diligently toward the manifestation of my real self. This ferocious commitment to fulfilling my purpose here is probably how and why I ended up being a guide to others.  I want EVERYONE to have the benefit of it, but most people just aren’t that motivated. They might talk about it, but they don’t really do anything about it. It’s like having a secret cure for cancer and then finding out people are att ..read more

Effiji Is Not Just Any Breathwork

Elijah My new albums of Effiji Breathwork music aren’t meant for you to lay down and breathe to for an hour. Effiji Breathwork is about breathing in the presence of someone who knows what to do with the information that is revealed. Without that, you’re getting only a fraction of the value from the time you invest. What you can do on your own is take a single track, lay down and breathe to that. Here is one you can try.  In 2023, I experimented with offering tracks to breathe to for 5 minutes. I made so many new tracks of music, I grouped them by the 6 d ..read more
