On a beautiful spring evening on April 19th, 2024, Pop Punk icons Sum 41 would nearly destroy Omaha Nebraska’s first indoor-outdoor multipurpose event facility. With state-of-the-art acoustics, lighting, and sound systems, The Astro and The Astro Amphitheater boast spacious performance stages and comfortable seating areas that can accommodate up to 2,400 guests in the indoor theater and 5,500 at the Amphitheater. This would be held indoors and I’m pretty sure more than 2,400 fans showed up. They arrived early and were chomping at the bit to get going. T ..read more

Pandemonium is a new music festival in Australia launched this year hosting a diverse range of rock and alternative rock bands. Unfortunately, it was not immune to rising costs which has recently caused numerous music festivals to be cancelled. This unfortunately impacted the lineup being reduced from 13 to 6 acts. Despite facing an uphill battle with speculative and negative media, and a data breach to ticket holders requesting refunds, the festival pushed through to its first event in Melbourne.
The festival kicked off in Carribean Gardens on the east side of Melbourne. T ..read more

Judas Priest brought their quintessential heavy metal show to The Toyota Oakdale Theater in beautiful Wallingford, Connecticut for a sold-out crowd. Celebrating the recent release of their 19th studio album Invincible Shield. I believe this album may hail as one of the top heavy metal albums of the year. Surprisingly there wasn’t a long line to get into the venue. This was due to the security staff getting people through the checkpoint efficiently. Once inside, you could feel the excitement of the fans enjoying the “dome” area for their pre-gaming food and drink and hanging out w ..read more

It was a beautiful spring night in Southern California for the first concert of the 2024 season at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre. And what a way to kick off the year, Bad Religion, Social Distortion, and an opening act with an identity crisis. It was good to be back at the Amphitheatre and I was looking forward to the show. The crowd was growing by the time I made it to the press entrance for the opening act, a band featuring Julian James Ness, the son of Mike Ness sounded like a perfect way to start the show.
First up was a band fronted by Julian James Ness, and the ..read more

The energy ramped up quickly with the guitar-driven “Wish You Were Here” and “Anna Molly”. Incubus didn’t disappoint performing all the ..read more
