The 49.98-metre Heesen superyacht ALP has been spotted on sea trials in the North Sea. Previously known as Project Jade, ALP is the third yacht in the popular Heesen 5000 Aluminium series. Sitting just below the 500 GT mark, ALP was sold in February 2024, with Jim Evans of SuperYachtsMonaco introducing the buyer. The 24.5-metre VisionF 82 yacht Flagship was engulfed in flames on Sunday 28 April, following a fire at the RMK Merrill-Stevens shipyard in Miami, USA.The yacht arrived at the facility last week and was situated in the water under the shipyard’s shed. When the Miami Fire Rescue team arrived on the scene on Sunday morning, they saw how extensive the fire was and had to send out a second alarm to request more units to assist with the damage. The 122-metre Lürssen superyacht Kismet has been spotted on further sea trials close to Kiel, Germany.
