Planning a wedding is exciting, but when you're working on a short timeline, it can quickly become overwhelming. S & M
Bringing their loved ones together in the place they fell in love was top priority for S & M. They had guests fly in from all over the world and really wanted to blend their two cultures, while immersing their families in Brooklyn. They chose Brooklyn Grange Sunset Park for it’s unique feel of oasis in the middle of a very urban area. The gorgeous blank space allowed them to customize every piece of their wedding, from the Kagamibiraki sake ceremony to the rice topping favors, they truly thought through each detail with care.

A & A
When we first started working together, A & A expressed they wanted the vibe to be cozy, intimate, and have a very New York feel. The Wythe’s penthouse loft with it’s gorgeous views was the obvious choice as soon as they walked in. With food and cocktails by the awesome in-house restaurant Le Crocodile, guests had a delicious family-style sated dinner. Then, the party took a unique spin when everyone was invited back upstairs for an incredible performance by a speakeasy band (complete with a beat boxer!).

One of the major reasons I decided to specialize in small & intimate weddings is because there tends to be a strong focus on the ceremony. While of course the celebration is an important piece of the wedding day, the ceremony is the reason everyone is there in the first place! You and your partner finally have a chance to declare your love publicly and in front of those you love (and who love you!) most. Many of the couples I work with are interested in creating their own ceremonies, but it’s truly no small undertaking.
