London Control is very outdated as voice control goes. You will most likely need to run it in a win95 environment.
It will not work out of the box in win11.
But everything can be done with mouse and keyboard and it's a nice sim for area control. ..read more

Yeah it's not working. On my W11 system it killed ATC Pro in 3 seconds after launching. So I followed the complex "do it yourself" process and build a new DLL. It runs within the sim, and I can see it contacting the weather server but no new weather is fetched. It looks like the TLS handshake and crypto startup happens, but no weather seems to be loaded :-( Next time I can devote some time to this, I'll try to get WireShark to decrypt that connection and see if there is an error coming from ..read more

Oh I just saw this. What a shame. Sympathies to his friends and family for sure.
I wonder if the program just never lived up to its potential due to it being "too hard"? It's certainly not a game" that some FPS kiddies could ever get into. Being a lifetime aviator, though, and loving my yearly "Raincheck" visits to the local TRACON and towers, I always wanted to be on the other side of the mic. There are a couple of SoCal controllers that were my angels in my busy days. Heroes.
