Is it an impression of mine, or since after COVID the show went through severe budget cuts? For example in older episodes there were more outdoors scenes, even brief like Tony picking up his father at the Addams house (and then he shot someone or when they met a homeless woman), some episodes featured baltimore and so on with many other outdoor locations, some of em even set in foreign countries too, like paraguay or mexico ecc...
