I get CBS, NBC, PBS and FOX (3,6,13 and 19) analog with rabbit ears on my circa 1983 RCA. I went to W-Mart and got the Magnavox CECB and hooked it up to the TV and rabbit ears and let it scan and I got PBS Digital (fake channel 13) I tried NBC, CBS, and FOX on their real channels and fake channels and got nothing. I beleive Fox 19 is going to flash cut so dont bother there. CBS does not have their digital transmitter online on the Trenary tower yet so you wont get that either. NBC (TV6)... I just spoke to a Charter customer rep in Pasadena, and she told me they have the new DVR HDTV boxes. Does anyone know what box they use? I wasn't aware there are DVR HDTV boxes for cable. Also, does anyone in the Pasadena area user the CableCard? How are the HD signals through the card? I know that with my box right now (SA 3100D), channel 4 HD is sometimes choppy. I've been hearing for over a year now that RCN would be releasing HDTV in Chicago soon. I guess soon is a relative term. Has anybody heard a definite timeframe on when it will happen? My building only supports RCN and I'll be pulling the trigger on an HDTV set soon and really don't want to be limited to DVDs. My building is already converted to digital and RCN did this major upgrade to their broadband speeds in Chicago but still no word on HDTV. Don't you think that more customers...
