Picked up the one on the right today. Everything about it (except maybe the spark plug) told me that it was an early 5000. And as we know they don't have closed ports, so I didn't even look at how the cylinder was cast. The paint on the underside and the rear handle is very nice, so it's hard to believe the cylinder was worn out and replaced. (Both mufflers have been leaking.)
