Hello, I want to power my ROV; It has 6 T200 thrusters. As I saw in the Technical details of the T200 thruster it says that it needs 32 Amps to work on full power.
I want to make the electronic structure able to support full thrust.
I am searching online, but I coluldn’t find something that clarify the topic to me.
I have a 22.2 V 6s Lipo battery.
Assuming that I am using this PDB(power distribution board )

Hi Everyone,
I have attached some links to the ROV that students that I teach constructed for the subs in schools competition here in Australia. I hope you like it. Its running 4x T200 thrusters with the navigator board in the center pressure hull. Tether is a 4 core cable with two strands providing data transfer and two providing power. No batteries allowed. The top and bottom plates are CNC’d HDPE boards. 3d printed one of the grabber jaws to suit the task, the tether thimble and the frame members holding the top and bottom plate are all 3D printed using PETG filament. No foam or ballast was ..read more

Hi, I am examining rovs from underwater robotic competition and I find out some of them using circuit breakers in electronics. Does it make sense to put circuit breaker on the vehicle? Or where to put these circuit breakers ?

Has anyone used MT30 (or MR30) connectors inside the electronics tube to connect the cable from the thrusters?
Will an MT30 fit through the 10mm penetrator hole?
Would the MT30 carry enough current for a T200 or would MR60 be better?
I could put bullet connectors on the ends but that would require 3 time the labeling.
I am trying to make the electronics detachable as a unit. Note the change to 8 screwholes (6 used) for the rear bulkhead. I like the BluRobotics design of slotting the tray into the bulkheads.
As you can see I have made a new tray for a 400 mm tube so I can fit a 4S 10 AH batter ..read more

Hello!
I am currently working with a team to build a submersible vehicle. We need to calculate a power analysis in order to determine the battery necessary. We have the current draw for the servos and will have the current information for the DC motor and other relevant parts, however I cannot find any current information about the Pixhawk 2.4.8 that we are using for the build. I was hoping that someone here may be able to help me find this information so that I can get the power analysis underway.
Thank you for your time!

I wanted to use this opportunity to thank everyone on this forum for the unconditional support I received with building my small project - highly appreciated.
My goal was to be able to make an affordable water drone for kids to enjoy during summer break from school and the whole intent is to build it during the fall and winter season. This is not a one week project but one that requires a lot of patience and patience .
Most people have the money to buy the off the shelf (store product) but there is nothing satisfying about building something of your own - which in turn gives you lots of knowle ..read more

I know this might sound stupid to ask here but has anyone be able to customized any button on their controller to be able to drive the rover in preset offset degree( 30 ,45) to utilized the camera if you do not have a tilt gimbal setup . so basically the rover will operate at the offset until you push a button to bring it back to level (O)
Any help will be highly appreciated .

Major Problems
QGC will not connect at all ( keep getting waiting for video to load )
