Whenever I knit a cardigan, vest, dress or jumper, I always look for a way to add a pocket or two to my design. Pocket is a brilliant way to improve the garment: it is a functional edition, decoration and expression of personal vision. When we talk about pockets, we often have an image of square or rectangle necessity strictly for caring or storing needs. I was always curious about knitting and crocheting from a very young age. As a young girl, I loved to watch my granny knitting hats, scarfs, gloves, socks and cardigans for our family. She always came up with the most stunning and innovative patterns and techniques for her knitting projects. Full baskets with colourful yarns from various materials always were part of our house.
