Hey There Caddyshackers  “Happy Mardi Gras!” This was a term we used to hear on one night of the year as the sequins, feathers, leather and floats danced their way down Oxford Street in Sydney. Thanks largely to World Pride in Sydney 2023 and the ongoing movements of the Rainbow community and their Allies, Mardi Gras is now much more than one day. It’s a festival full of love, inclusion and advocacy.  Mardi Gras 2024  This year’s festival began on the 16th of February with the program celebrating the entire LGBTQIA+ community. There were over 100 community events, including danc ..read more

Hi Caddyshackers, Feb 2024 here we go! What makes you blush? It’s the middle of a conversation and suddenly if you feel heat in your cheeks, you are blushing! So, what makes you blush? Go on, tell us! It was a lunchtime conversation with an external partner from a Non-Government Organization (NGO) last year that really got us thinking about this. Over lunch, the conversation led to books, and never missing a ..read more

One of our team members went to see Matt Corby live at the Enmore theatre in Sydney in June 2023 doesn’t take much to guess who that was! Maddy, it was Maddy. She jokingly messaged us live from the gig: Can you get pregnant from Matt Corby’s voice? Asking for a friend.  After hearing the smooth deep sounds of Matt Corby’s voice, maybe this was only a half-joking text *wink. I mean, watch this shaky footage and listen to the collective moment of ‘conception’ from the audience and you be the judge. This of course sounded like a great segue into a blog on myths & facts around sex ..read more

Hi Caddyshackers,  You know that feeling when you are really on a roll with your work? We get in a really good rhythm of designing and writing content, collaborating in our social content calendar meetings, webinar research and planning and our team meetings. Oh and then recording and reflecting on social media insights in our social marketing reports and team monthly reports. We love what we do and how far we’ve come. It’s always helpful to stop and acknowledge our growth! We also love sharing the lessons we have learnt and what has worked for us. No need to hold that close to our chest ..read more
