Seems to be working fine but its my first time using such a thing and wanted to know how long it should take for Windows to recognize the drive.  It takes about 10 seconds. Hello   I cant access my PC. I have a HD and a SSD. When i Try to boot my PC with the SSD i get a BSOD with a "Registry Error" I recently installed Windows on my HD and i wanted to format my SSD which didnt work because of Write Protection. I tried everything.. From diskpart to apps for formating but it just doesnt work. I also looked if that SSD has a switch for Write Protection but i didnt see anything.. Hello   I've wanted to ask about Samsung 990 Pro. I was originally going for WD SN850x but i got the 990 Pro very cheap on Amazon for 120$ (EU) which is 40$ cheaper than 850x current price. After some reading online I've found out about the issues with firmware and drives degradation for 990pro that got me concerned. Okay so I have this weird issue where my SSD (Gaming SSD, not main SSD) does not load on startup of my PC. I then have to shut down my PC and switch it back on again then it will pick up.   Now the problem is, my SSD does get picked up under Disk Management, it just isn't initialized. But when I try to initialize it, it fails. So it does not seem like a power or connection problem because the SSD actually does get picked up. I was using my flash drive when ramdombly 2 folders named windowsapps and another who's name I don't remember appeared. I never put them there, they just appeared today. I tried deleting them but it said i needed permission from all users to delete it, so i went over to the admin profile and tried to delete it again, but it still wouldn't delete. I'm getting a much needed upgrade with no budget. I'm wanting to use my current sata ssd boot drive As a secondary drive in my new build without losing the data on it if possible. What would this process look like, Can I just install windows on my new NMVe drive Then plug in my old sata ssd later and manually delete the old windows folder files on it (just to make some space)?
