Hi all, I have an M2 drive that was encrypted with veracrypt and it suddenly doesnt work any more. I was overclocking ram and believe I may have corrupted the drive/boot sector of it? If that is possible. When the drive is in the PC, it takes 3 minutes to post and ends up not recognising the drive. I bought a new one and it works fine when its just the new drive in. I'm going to be buying drives for my "NAS" and not sure if the better drives are worth the extra money I will be getting 2 identical 2tb drives and running them in a raid 1 mirror for redundancy. Is it worth doing? I feel like I am missing out by not. Just tried SSD to SSD and even SSD or portable SSD. The speed is incredible compared to Hard Drive 7200 rpm to SSD.
