Jayne was born on May 16, 1937 in Vandalia, IL. the daughter of Hiram and Goldie (Kirkman) Miller. She married David Elles Turner and he preceded her in death on August 27, 2014. SPRINGFIELD, IL – On March 18, 2024, Springfield Police officers arrested Avion Hunter in connection to a burglary at Subway restaurant located in the 600 block of Linton. At the time of the arrest, Hunter was in possession of US currency and burglary tools. He was interviewed by SPD detectives and confessed to multiple burglaries. Hunter, who was on parole for burglary at the time, was charged with three felonies and subsequently released from jail per the Pre-Trial Fairness act.
