Sam Hartman is out indefinitely with a non-COVID related medical issue, according to a release from Wake Forest. Hartman, who was named Second Team All-ACC in 2021, is one of the top players in the country. Following a workout on Tuesday, though, he sought medical attention for a non-football related concern. The results of ensuing tests and subsequent treatment will keep Hartman out of action for an indefinite period of time. Wake Forest has yet to state what happened with Hartman. Aden Holloway, according to a report from Eric Bossi of 247 Sports, is down the four schools, including two from the ACC. Wake Forest and Miami both made the cut — along with Auburn and Tennessee. Aden Holloway, a top-50 prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, is attracting serious buzz as a prospect. Recently, the 4-star point guard picked up an offer from Juwan Howard and Michigan — following his performance at the Geico Nationals. Holloway hails from outside of Charlotte (NC); however, the 6-foot guard plays his prep ball for powerhouse La Porte (IN) La Lumiere School. With a chunk of the roster projected to turnover, Steve Forbes and Wake Forest will once again look to the transfer portal. Mere hours after Alabama forward Juwan Gary entered the portal, Wake Forest contacted the 6-foot-6 wing forward.
