Whilst wing surfing was typically born on the foiling side of the fence, for many, the non foiling side of wing surfing is very attractive. There are plenty of benefits to forgetting the foil for a moment. Either as a stepping stone, allowing you to focus and improve your board and wing skills before bringing the foil into play, or for those of you who are just looking to extend the use of a SUP in more conditions. I’ve been reassessing what size kite wings I need in my quiver recently. I typically use a 5m but have spent the last 3 weeks using a 3.5m F-ONE Swing and decided that together they will cover almost any wind range for me.  What size kite wing should I buy?  This is one of the most common first questions we hear from anyone learning to wing foil. Frustratingly, it’s not as straight forward to answer as you’d hope it is. It depends on varying factors such as weight, skill level, likely ..read more

Wow what a year 2020 has been.. good times, bad times and wang times! We appreciate the season didn’t have the best of starts with coronavirus taking off, lockdown kicking in and manufacturing falling behind. However, what this did invoke was an increased need to escape the makeshift dining table ‘home office’ and the endless sanitising of our dried out flaky-skinned mitts to appreciate what we did have – sunshine, wind and waves.. British style! From wang to wing Wing surfing sneaked into the UK only last year and never intended, nor was expected, to make such a big impression! Providing thos ..read more

Even though we’re still finding our feet with this new sport of wing foiling, the competitions have kicked off in super style and 2020 has shown some promising results! Wing Foil Tour 2020 This comp kicked off this year with a national championship across different venues in Italy, to determine who would be crowned the Italian champion. There was originally talk of four events, however, with all the Covid-19 issues this resulted in only three being announced, and the last of these had to be cancelled. But the first two events were well attended and had plenty of races to windle down to an over ..read more
