Rangers’ injury list has taken a massive smack in the face after Nico Raskin, Ryan Jack and Scott Wright were joined on the treatment table by perennially-injured Tom Lawrence and newly-blighted Borna Barisic. Just when the injury situation started seeming to improve, following Philippe Clement’s bold claims that the injuries would pick up in a couple of months, two further setbacks have…

Rangers fans have been voting on a potential return on free agent and former Ibrox striker Alfredo Morelos after the Colombian striker’s Brazil spell collapsed spectacularly following relegation and his only having three appearances. The 27-year-old, who had a clause allowing his release should Santos go down, is now seeking his next challenge, and with Rangers’ strikers, in a word…

Once again Rangers labour in the Scottish Premiership, just about sneaking out of Tynecastle with the three points. Ibrox Noise puts together our ratings for another difficult Rangers display under Philippe Clement: Butland: One of two Rangers Class signings this summer, another couple of huge saves from this giant in goal as Butland pulled out yet more brilliance. Pity most of the…

Rangers travel tonight to Tynecastle in what threatens to be a very, very tough one, with Shankland on form and Hearts entrenched in third place in the Premiership. Philippe Clement’s rather subdued Rangers eventually got over the line against the well-organised St Mirren side led by Stephen Robinson which threatened to make the result far from foregone, and we will need much better at the…

Rangers have been placed 4th best club in Europe behind only City, Bayern and PSG by Swiss Football Data for country coefficient contribution ranking, which will come as no surprise to anyone in Scottish football. Rangers have been single-handedly lifting Scottish football through European football for half a decade, and based on the points scored in those five years, only three colossi of…

This article has been a long time coming, and Ibrox Noise held off from publishing in light of then-new manager Philippe Clement’s no-nonsense reputation and promises as he joined the club. Those promises were the same b*ll*cks that Steven Gerrard first offered when he became Rangers manager: Any player, not up to scratch, not performing, not got the hunger, will not play for me.

Rangers’ AGM has been and gone, and Rangers fans have been chewing over how they feel about the answers given by the board members, and overwhelmingly appear to have deemed this wasn’t a satisfactory performance by the powers-that-be with chairman John Bennett doing particularly badly up on stage. In fairness, the shareholders present took a long enough time to ask a half-pressing question…

Rangers fans hoping for much-needed and large-scale change to the struggling playing personnel in January are set to be disappointed after manager Philippe Clement confirmed that won’t be happening next month. Speaking at the club’s AGM this morning, Clement and the board were directly challenged on the desperately-required upgrades for summer’s rather poor transfer window and a squad in…

Rangers have finally addressed the years-long injury crisis at Ibrox… by rather evading the topic and offering absolutely no reason why it’s been happening. Speaking at the AGM, we obviously know that Tom Taylor is our new Head of Performance and he will be tasked with players’ health, diet, fitness etc, but new (ish) manager Philippe Clement had no explanation for why it’s been taking place.

Graeme Souness’ journey back to Ibrox appears to be dead in the water after the former manager went onto TalkSport to effectively admit talks with the club stalled but he would still love the job. Unfortunately in doing so he has also demonstrated yet again his unwillingness to back down and admit he got something wrong and has now inexplicably changed his story on his Frank Lampard comments…
