Could really use some help here. TIA. I am from the States and flying into NCL airport from France and then staying up in North UK for a few days. Then I am leaving on BA from NCL Airport and arriving at Heathrow to spend some time in London. If I go through customs at NCL when leaving for London, will I have to go through customs again (same day, non-stop flight) at Heathrow? I am trying to arrange a pickup at LHR and will have only carry-on luggage so not sure what ETA pickup time to give the driver since the customs and immigration question is looming (traveling next month). The reason for my question is that, following a hip fracture several years ago, I still require a cane, and lack agility and strength. Our plan is to travel from London Euston to Liverpool Lyme Street on a Saturday in June, most likely in standard class on one of the express trains. In past years, I’d experienced the need to lift luggage overhead into storage, but during more recent rail travel in Europe, I’d found that the more usual luggage storage system is to have areas at the end of coaches.
