I had BackyardEOS 3.1 Classic Edition [OTL-BYE-C] and decided to upgrade to BackyardEOS 3.2 Premium Edition [OTL-BYE-P].  I accidentally started a PayPal purchase of $50 instead of a $20 upgrade. I then switched to the upgrade and paid the $20. BYE still showed Classic Edition. I then looked at my previous purchases and noticed that the $50 purchase was pending so I cancelled it. BYE still shows Classic edition. I have deleted and reinstalled the app but it has not updated the version. What do I need to do ..read more

I am using BYEOS with a Canon 7DII and various lenses on a Star Adventurer tracker for DSO and planetary imaging. The tracker accepts ST-4 auto-guider input for RA only. I do not have an auto-guider, but can correct small amounts of star trailing on each image in post-processing prior to stacking. As I am shooting in LiveView mode, would it be possible for BYEOS to develop a new function to every few seconds or so, grab a LiveView frame, image match, and send RA corrections to the tracker via a separate cable? Hello, I have been experiencing a weird issue were the capture plan will run flawlessly anywhere from 10-20 minutes and then it'll freeze and I can't abort. I end up having to restart the software. In my capture plan, I have (4) exposures and the last one has a delay of 15s. This is of course with "loop" activated. I was hoping to use this during the duration of the eclipse for a timelapse. Hello! I am using BYE on a Canon T2i. I am trying to write a plan to use BYE for the eclipse. I composed and saved a plan, but notice that it does not save the "Duration" field. The "Duration" field would be of great help in pausing between the rows, waiting between each phase of the eclipse. I edited the file to manually enter "Duration=123", terminating with a "|", nested between Av and ISO fields. Upon loading this edited file, I notice that the durations are read and updated correctly in the UI, but are greyed out. Upon testing the plan, the duration is not used at all. I am confused if I can use Backyard EOS as a live controller of the camera. m I want to be able to change the shutter speed on the fly as the eclipse happens, and I am unclear how this can be done. The camera information so up in the camera panel, but it doesn't seem to allow me to let the iso be set the iso to auto and set the shutter speed on the fly as the eclipse is happening. I bought BYEOS years ago as I wanted to support it.  I never used it as I have a dome and used Prism, SGP and now NINA.  well the time has come when I actually need BY EOS.  (ECLIPSE) upcoming...  my astro cameras don't really shoot at the fast shutter speeds needed.  I want to connect my Canon to my scope (for the first time in 7 years of astro photography. Just a note to say I haven't found any CRAW files after taking images in that format.   I use the format to get more files.  Not a problem for me.  I will just change to RAW format when using X64.   If others do get CRAW files to download please comment.  I won't be able to access the internet until after the Eclipse ..read more

Does BYE 64-bit allow you to control more than one camera? Or, can you run multiple instances of BYE to control two cameras?
