Hi,
So I am asking all those that build emergency vehicle models (Ambulances, Fire Trucks, etc), I am looking for either decals or the refective paint
used on emergency vehicles to make them more visible when illuminated by light. Anybody know a source?
Thanks in advance,
Steve Sliger

Hello all. Hopefully someone still browses this category. I'm working on Monogram's 1/8 1985 Corvette and need some advice on gluing in the windshield and hatch glass. This is thick plastic and they don't fit perfectly. What adhesives work best in this situation, not wanting to fog the clear plastic using CA. Any input is appreciated.   ..read more

I am building Round2s/Ertls 1/25, Int'l Scout II. I used to have one of these trucks and they were great in snow and off-road. My old Scout II was painted DuPont 6787 Concord Blue. Does anybody know how to get this color or come very close to it?
Thank You ..read more

Anyone taking over? They were my go-to place for replacement car parts

Has anyone used Zero paints? They have a few I would like to get as they are supposed to be color matched.
Starsky & Hutch Gran Torino Red, General Lee Orange, and Christine Plymouth Red to name a few.
When I first looked them up I found them on Hiroboy's website in England. Then I saw the shipping, yikes!
I have since seen them for sale here in the States at Hobbyworld USA ..read more

My modeling interest is limited to jets, but I have been doing a lot of reading and watching on F1. I am now particularly eyeing this kit:

I plan to build the above kit all closed (no exposed engines or brake discs etc.).
I have collected quite a bit of WIP blogs and pictures of the real thing and finished models. But, I really have no clue what aspects of car / F1 modeling are different than say jet modeling (I've never built armor either). In the world of F1 kits, is the above kit well regarded and is it an easy kit to build ..read more

The kit uses either an older GTO steering wheel or one from a Tempest. The one in the pic is correct.
Does anyone make a correct wheel or a similar one?

I’m not a car modeler. Does anybody make aftermarket etch grills in different patterns to replace the solid molded kit pieces? Generally speaking. But specifically for the different 70s Trans Am styles.
