Our heroes receive a prophetic gift in a session filled with runes, glyphs, and secret societies. And the Flaming Fist. Quit being cute with your codes and clues and just kill these fools already! When last we left our heroes, they had returned home to Port Nyanzaru, only to find the city locked down, seized in the grip of a lethal Death Curse. Hundreds of people were sick and dying, and no one knew why. Our heroes followed a series of clues that lead them to an abandoned home in the Merchant District. Inside they found a nest of vipers, Yuan-ti snakemen, that had been poisoning the water supp ..read more

Our heroes discover the source of the Nyanzaru plague, which leads to a very unexpected reunion. Finally, the Death Curse. It’s about !*&$!#@! time. When last we left our heroes, they had finally arrived back at Port Nyanzaru only to find the city locked down under quarantine. The citizens are dying by the hundreds and nobody seems to know how or why. The city is gripped with fear. The town’s resources are depleted just trying to contain the panic. It’s up to our heroes to save the day. What else is new? One thing that Tomb of Annihilation is missing is a good mystery. I don’t know about ..read more

This week, an epic invasion of undead, our heroes get their first glimpse at Ras Nsi, and Martic finally plays his cards right. Hey, you guys got a nice place here. You don’t mind if a few hundred of my friends drop by, do you? When last we left our heroes, they had found The Order of the Gauntlet at a fortification called Camp Vengeance. The group has made a good impression with some people in the camp, but they’ve made a very bad impression with the Commandant, Templar Niles Breakbone. In fact, our group has been shanghaied into the Order and one of them is in jail for insolence. But it won ..read more

This week, some raging reptiles seek revenge, we complete our first quest, and the death curse finally begins. Yea, death! The Death Curse! Boo-yah! You guys are screwed now! Bwah-hah-ha. When last we left our heroes, they have been trying to deliver the NPC Undril Silvertusk to Camp Righteous to reunite her with her faction. They found where the camp was supposed to be but it was abandoned. Before moving on, the group channeled their inner Indiana Jones and defeated a death trap dungeon to walk away with, wait for it… an Alchemy Jug! An alchemy jug?! What is this nonsense? I want gold, dammi ..read more

This is it! The Raiders of the Lost Ark session we’ve all been waiting for. Don’t forget your whip. But leave that traitor Satipo behind. At last, a death trap dungeon. Now your playing my jam! When last we left our heroes, they had been striving valiantly to deliver their ally, Undril Silvertusk, to Camp Righteous, a faction outpost for the Order of the Gauntlet. Along the way they have been captured by Yuan-ti, kidnapped by goblins, and beset by all manner of beasts, plants, monsters, spectral mists, and even frost giants. At long last, our heroes have arrived at Camp Righteous… Only to fin ..read more

Where we find the final destination of Yellyark, stumble upon a huge, delirious plot development, and nearly get killed by fog. I’m getting sick of the “nearly” killed by something shtick. When are you gonna get “really” killed already? When last we left our heroes, they had tracked down the group responsible for kidnapping their guides, porters, and one of their companions. They were being held by a sadistic tribe of goblins called the Batiri. Our heroes managed to free everybody, but were caught while escaping. During the ensuing battle, the Batiri unleashed their village defense system. Thi ..read more

Our heroes choose a new direction in the campaign, but will they choose goblins, undead, or dinosaurs? I don’t care how, undead, yuan-ti, or these puny goblins. Just die already! When last we left our heroes, they had escaped the Yuan-ti temple, rescued a dozen NPCs, and saved the life of their ally and patron, Undril Silvertusk. Unfortunately, they managed to lose the other half of their entourage, whom have been captured by a nasty tribe of goblins called the Batiri. Now the party faces a major dilemma. The rescued NPCs want to get in the boats and go home to Port Nyanzaru. Undril, the patro ..read more

The party hits a major crossroad where they have to decide between obligation, morality, or friendship. Wait, I forgot. You can’t die yet, I haven’t activated my curse yet. Give me a few weeks. When last we left our heroes, they wrought havoc on a Yuan-ti ceremony that was about to sacrifice their friend and companion, Roland. They managed to save his life, killed a bunch of despicable snakemen, and rescued a half dozen civilians from Port Nyanzaru who were kidnapped and enslaved by these repugnant reptiles. They also freed several jungle tribesmen, but one was killed during the temple battle ..read more

The penultimate battle as our heroes defile a Yuan-ti temple to save their friend from a fate worse than death. Quit messing with these stipid snakes and come find me so I can suck your soul. When last we left our heroes, they had been captured by Yuan-ti snakemen and were now trapped inside their temple. They were split up, all their gear had been confiscated, and each had to discover their own way to escape their captors. Three of the four had escaped by various means, and were now wandering the dungeon looking for each other. Incredibly, they found each other, but it was all about to go hor ..read more

Trapped and alone in a Yuan-ti prison, our heroes have to find a way out, find each other, and find all their stuff. Like a snake in the grass, I’ll bide my time to collect your soul.  When last we left our heroes, they had taken a slight detour to explore an abandoned temple ruin, only to learn the hard way that it was not abandoned. They were ambushed by Yuan-ti sentries that absolutely wrecked the party. One was knocked unconscious, twice, and the others were all afflicted with various forms of debilitating madness. This resulted in my (and many of my players) first ever Total Party Ki ..read more
