After the slow progression journey we experienced in Guardian, I was eager to get back to this series and see the beginnings of the war to come. I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for a honest review. I do not read Young Adult fantasy novels very frequently as I prefer more adult themes and characters. The fact that I devoured The Unmarked Girl in one day, reading chapter after chapter as I needed to see where the story will go, speaks volumes for how talented I believe this author is.
