This thread is closed and I have some more questions
GGL Experiences
This has been extended to the BA phone staff so the GGL team can do this now. No need for a travel agent any more. TAs can still do more with GUFs than direct with BA.

Hi all,
I’m finding some contradicting information so just checking if anyone knows the most recent: Does BA allow for early check in with luggage at LAX?
Am WP Flying J class on BA280 LAX to LHR, departure 1710, I know there is an early BA flight to LHR that day, would I be able to drop bags during that check in?
Thanks in advance ..read more

Well flew into LHR today from BRU. The wait for checked luggage was about the same as the time spent in the air.
However about 10 mins after I reached the carousel, (about 15:50) luggage was just starting to come from the previous flight at the carousel, from Abuja. It reached that gate at 14:24.
Then some time later an announcement came over that the driver had picked up bags from another flight and they would be delivered to the carousel in 15 mins. That was at 16:10. The...

British Airways Executive Club now awards Tier Points for Aer Lingus flights, in addition to just Avios.
Quietly added on 1 April 2024.
Oz Based Tier Point Run
Hi everyone, looking to hear experiences for TPRs for those based in Aus. I've heard that PER-BKK often has sales. Does anyone know how cheap they get and are there any other fares available? Ex-EU has some good deals I've seen, DUB-LAX or BUD-Hawaii. I would like to see whether its cost...

Hey All,
Recently started redeeming QFF points for the first time,
I am planning my trip to Asia next Jan-Feb, as I have family in Malaysia.
I redeemed MEL-KUL MAS business class. For the return, only BA had Premium Econ SIN-SYD, whereas all partner airlines only had economy. I went ahead and booked BA.
Now doing the maths, do you think it was worth it?
SIN-SYD, 59k QFF points + $324AUD surchage.
Cash fare :
One way SIN-SYD $2.1k AUD
Return is $2.1k AUD as well lol with each leg being...

British Airways’ Exclusive New “Group 0” Boarding
As of March 26, 2024, British Airways will be rolling out Group 0 boarding on all flights, in addition to the existing Group 1-9 concept. Group 0 is intended specifically for British Airways Gold Guest List and Premier customers. Gold Guest List is for those who rack up lots of Tier Points (by flying British Airways a regrettable amount), while Premier is given to those who control big corporate travel budgets, and...

Good news for getting more points options to London. BA returning to KUL and BKK from the start of the Northern winter schedule. BKK 3 weekly into LGW and KUL (not sure frequency) into LHR.
BKK will connect with the QF SYD flight.
