Hey all. I have a 1980 Raleigh touring 14 that I love! I have put a few thousand miles on it since I got it a few years ago, and I'm pretty sure the first owner just had it in his garage. I have lately noticed a ticking sound when Im putting a lot of pressure on the pedals. I thought it was maybe a worn bottom bracket so I serviced the bottom bracket, and replaced the bearings. I did the same with the cup and cone bearings in the pedals and hubs too for good measure and. I rebuilt the freewheel and put a new chain on.
