This was my first kidding season. 7 babies born, 6 bucks, one doe. the last kidding happened a few days ago and one of the kids passed within 24 hours. Hoping maybe someone experienced might have an idea why? Irene, my first mini saanen ever, was born and raised here her whole 8 1/2 years. Last year we noticed a small raw spot on her anus. I knew right away it was cancer. I saw it many times helping others. Normally this cancer grows outwardly and in clusters. It’s painful, raw,and for some will block pooping as it gets too large. Irene’s never really grew large. Today is the day I say goodbye to my moms kitty cat. I have been caring for her for almost a year due to my mom moving. She is old(almost 20) and had a thyroid issue that was kept at bay with medicine 2x a day, but i think the medicine finally caught up too her and caused seizures. -my mom used to foster cats and this kitty no one wanted. Heidee is our 15 years old rat terrier. She was hit when she was 4 months old and it caused a blood clot on her brain. She's been loopy ever since. But she lived a long quiet life.
