Saddened to hear of the passing of Sarah Dash. Here she is on the cover of SOUL with Labelle in 1975. Some words from SOUL Publisher Regina Jones: "Sarah Dash R.I.P. Feels like yesterday when I first saw LaBelle at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. They tore the roof off the house that night. Gracing the cover of SOUL, March 3, 1975, LaBelle touched the hearts of America. Lithofayne Pridgon and I would call one another and talked for a number of years prior to her death. She remembered me and SOUL from when we wrote about Etta James in the late 60's. I could never figure out how she knew so much about me and remember me so well. When I asked she would just laugh. We had a friendship and were able to talk openly and honestly with one another. Thank you for sharing this with me Ed Boyer. And most of all thank you God for the privilege to know Fayne.
