Court Wing experienced relief from persistent, long-term chronic pain with just one administration of psilocybin. Now, Court, alongside a team of experts, has developed a groundbreaking, free course on psychedelics and pain. This is his story.
With a five-year bout of increasingly treatment-resistant depression, Court Wing jumped at the opportunity to participate in NYU’s Psilocybin for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) trial in 2021. A research group at University College London (UCL) aims to understand how DMT's psychological benefits could relate to brain activity changes.
The project is being undertaken by the UNITy (Understanding Neuroplasticity Induced by Tryptamines) research group, based at UCL's Department of Psychology and Language Science.
