Water Ski Canada is pleased to announce the team for the 2022 IWWF World Under 17 Water Ski Championships in Santiago, Chile from January 5-8, 2023.  The Team will be managed by Kyle Hunter and Coached by Cole Grant and Matt Rini.  Canada will be represented by ten athletes with six skiers participating in the Team Event and four skiers participating as individuals.  Six of these athletes were in Santiago, Chile for the 2022 IWWF Pan American Water Ski Championships at the beginning of this month. Canadian water ski athletes Charlie Ross (ON) Shae O’Brien (AB) and Nellie Allard (QC), won titles in their respective events at the 29th Junior Nautique Master Tournament, presented by GM Marine on May 27th at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia.  Shae O’Brien (AB) won her first career Junior Masters Women’s Jump title, scoring 37.3m (122.00 ft) in the prelims and 40.5 M (133.00 ft) in the finals to bring home gold.
