Hello. Long time member here (I'm talking since Nugbuckets was here and was an unknown in the "pop" cultivation world (RIP TGA)) just been through a few different email addresses and screen names. I have been cultivating since, roughly, 2013 and Have always been in dry mediums. I started in soil, switched to coc and have alternated between coco and DTW rockwool for the past few years now. I am thinking about taking the plunge into hyrdoponics as the next logical step in the gaining entry... RDWC vs Coco Nutrient Consumption ..read more

I'm needing a new PH meter and was wondering if there's any sub $100 that are decent quality that are accurate and have longevity? I assume a replaceable sensor model would be worthwhile. One a side note while I have a good PPM meter I'm curious if any of the all in one meters are any good or should I just stick with a meter designed for one thing? It would be convenient to only carry one meter but I'm more interested in quality and durability if it comes down to that. Here is one that was... Recommends for a decent PH meter ..read more

Getting setup to run a study. Does anyone have a little experience with humidifiers? Big enough for a 9x9 and small enough for 5x9. I run Se5000 spiders. Small ones do nothing..... I can't get above 30%, even when ambient is 55% I don't want the cheapest, or the most expensive. Some where around a 1000 ..read more

I miss tinkering around. My thought process is : I used germ, then let the tap root dangle over a make shit bubbleponic until the tap root was long enough to put into pots with clay. I just got back into it and used rapid rooters. So I’m not sure if the idea would really be the same. The sprayers hit closer to the top of the nets. Promote roots coming out vertically with an airoponic effect (can’t remember what it’s called, tips of the root dying and regrowing) nice strong roots. But... Frankenstein dwc ..read more

I will be running a study on: Im looking for the closest thing I can find as a stand alone, 100% dissolved nutient. FOR THE FLOWERING STAGE ONLY. That means the correct macro nutrients, also one additive that makes up, what's missing. Like calcium. I am doing this for, Nothing! For a great Co. With little cannabis experience. I already have the Veg Nutrients perfected. The study will work like this: Equipment: I will be using a 5x9x10 Gorilla. 4--27 gallon RWDC single individual... Hey y'all, I just got an aero cloner. I've used one before, but I didn't get much experience with it, and it was quite a while ago. So, my 1st question is, do you run the pump constant, or on a timed schedule? 2nd question, what should the temp of the res be? My intuition says 68°f, but then I think that it might be too cold for forming roots ..read more
