Tuesday evening right at dark My wife says pigs! Right down the shootin lane behind my house about 160 yards. Grabbed my rifle and lines two up and squeezed off. Two pigs hit the ground but one got up and ran off. I decided i would look for the other one the next day. I made 5 stands yesterday starting at around noon. My timing was probably off a bit, but nonetheless. The areas I hunted have very high coyote #'s and are not easy to access. I would not expect them to be heavily pursued, but that is an assumption. Maybe it's common, but not something i expected. My first stand, while not your average predator, a group of three Blue Jays came to the call. Not sure if they are predatory or not. You could definitely tell they were keyed in on the rabbit...
