(link) (you can read it without a subscription if you haven't exceeded three articles this month.) The article is mostly a rehash of previous discoveries, but interesting just the same. Then, in today's mail, I received "A Guide to the Tombs and Temples of Ancient Luxor, Thebes in Egypt," a book I ordered last week. After a huge fuss with American Airlines over refundable tickets they won’t refund, we find ourselves with tkt credit we must use by the end of the year. We are doing Tauck- Kenya and Tanzania end of Sept/Oct. I am looking at Amawaterways Egypt vs Tauck’s Egypt Jewels of the Nile. We’ve done Ama before and it’s very nice. We have a very limited travel window due to other trips and family obligations. It needs to be either the 11/28 Tauck or the Dec. 2 Ama trip.
