Mac and Drea had the dreamiest vow renewal session at the Adler Planetarium at the Museum Campus. Drea booked the session as a surprise to her hubby and requested that it be a sunrise session. Pros of booking a sunrise session are ; no foot traffic , lighting is amazing, sunrise is over the lake so you get a similar vibe as a sunset, you can go to brunch afterwards and you have the whole day to look fabulous. Gifting a photo session is a wonderful idea. I offer gift cards, so the next time you aren’t sure what to get someone, remember me! I offer headshots, engagements, family sessions, brandi ..read more

Of course the pup came along too so he could celebrate with a new bandana that declared, “My humans are getting married”. You really can’t go wrong with Olive Park. This hidden but popular park among locals is tucked away behind Navy Pier. The views of the Oak Street Beach are stunning. I always encourage couples to make the proposal uni ..read more

In times of a COVID pandemic you opt for an adorable micro wedding on your porches. These two handsome gentlemen ( in their dapper blue velvet jackets ) celebrated their marriage vows on the front porch and held their reception on the back deck and it was beautifully done! They made this porch wedding all their own. Some couples opt to stay out of the sight of their guests until the ceremony and start the cocktails after ceremony. A & D went in a different direction and shared a cocktail before the guests arrived and they stood on the front porch and welcomed each guest as they arrived bef ..read more
