Dara and Seth were married at one of Chicago’s newest loft-style wedding venues – Sarabande. I started the morning with Dara and her bridesmaids downtown at Hyatt Centric Magnificent Mile and Justin started with Seth and the groomsmen at the same hotel. Jessica and Daniel’s wedding at Tabu Restaurant in the West Loop was a great way to start winding down our 2023 wedding season. I started with Jessica along with her sisters and mother at LondonHouse Hotel downtown while Justin started with Dan and the guys at an AirBNB in Fulton Market. I met up with Liz and Bill at one of their local spots, Frank’s Bar, in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. We chatted over beers and made a few photos there before walking to the Park. Our walking tour continued East through the park and out to the Lakeshore and Fullerton Beach. It was a bit windy, but I loved the photo we made of the two of them running – it was good practice for Bill who was running the Chicago Marathon this year! I met up with TerriAnn and Jason at one of their favorite Old Town pubs – The House of Glunz – with a lot of meaning for the two of them. In addition to catching up over drinks we also shot a handful of photos there. After an outfit change we headed north to Lincoln Park. It was a great day for a walk through the park and we actually walked all the way from Cafe Brauer to North Ave. Beach. I loved Daniela & Draz’s wedding last year, so I was excited for another one when Tanja & Miljan reached out about their day. I started with Deirdre and the rest of the bridesmaids at Claridge House hotel. The ladies had a lot of fun listening to Taylor Swift while getting ready and it was a really great morning all around. I’m a bit partial to the venue because it’s just a few blocks from my home and I’m a well-known sucker for exposed brick loft spaces!
