Greetings readers, Welcome back to the blog! I’ve debated about whether to post this on the blog or not… after some consideration, I decided to give it a go. But, before I explain further, I do want to say that, this YouTube channel is not directly related to The Invisible Vision Project, and the work I do as a disability advocate. However, I do feel it is relevant to share this on the blog here still, because, this blog is about me, and (my) life as a disabled person. So technically, it is legitimate to share anything and everything I’m open and willing to share. Anyways, without further ado ..read more

2023: End of Year Wrap Up

Greetings readers, Welcome back to the blog! It’s hard to believe that 2023 is coming to an end. And… it’s certainly been a year! At the very least, it feels like so, for the last few months of this year. Come to think of it, I didn’t had the time to write a New Year’s resolution type of blog for the start of this year. I was too busy with other things. But, this isn’t to say that I can’t conclude with an end of year review. Because after all, a lot happened this year; some good, others not so. At the beginning of the year, I proudly wrote a blog about how I exercised consistently for a year ..read more

A Short Life Update

Greetings readers, Welcome back to the blog! It’s been a LONG while since the last time I posted a blog on here. Life’s been busy and hectic, and (super) long story short— I’VE MOVED! Yes, you heard that right, I moved cities. I departed from the city I lived for ten plus years, nine of which were my university years as a part-time student. It was and always will be a city I loved, and I made great connections and met amazing people and friends there. My decision to relocate wasn’t an easy one, and I still don’t know if it’s the right decision or not. But sometimes, staying stuck in one place ..read more

Things I learned as a Disabled Gamer

Greetings readers, Welcome back to the blog! I’m aware that I haven’t been posting or writing consistently, that’s why I’m here with today’s blog to provide a (good) reason for it, and to announce—I am a disabled video gamer now!!! I’ve never been a gamer. Did I ever play video games? Sure, but never this consistently. One type of games I enjoyed a lot when I was younger was rhythm games. Other than that, I played some random games on my phone occasionally. I also had a PlayStation portable (PSP) gaming console (saying this somehow makes me feel old, haha), but I got the console for a specific ..read more

I Exercised Consistently for a Year

Greetings readers, Welcome back to the blog! And, (a kind of late) Happy New Year! As some of you know and remember, it was last year around this time, I participated a Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program, under the suggestion of my medical team. The purpose of this program was meant to hopefully restore and maintain my physical strengths, and function. And to improve my quality of life. As I sit here writing this blog, the first thing I’ll say is this: I’m so glad I did try and completed the program, despite the hardships and tears it caused, especially at the start. I’m happy to know, there is ..read more

Farewell 2022

Greetings readers, Welcome back to the blog! It’s been a while since I posted a blog…I know I’ve been absent from blogging and posting consistently over the past year. A lot has happened. And more importantly, I was doing some behind the scenes activism work, not under The Invisible Vision Project, or even using my real name, because the online world can be a scary place sometimes. What’s more, I also developed new hobbies and interests this year, so I do more of that than blogging and posting. Anyways, since this blog is a farewell to 2022, let’s talk about all the ups and downs of this year ..read more

Learning Beyond the Classroom

Greetings readers, Welcome back to the blog! ‘Tis that time of the year again, famously known as…back to school season! (Let me know, are you a “yay” or “nay” for this). This is the 4th school year that I’m no longer a student. Fun fact to insert here: I was a student for 22 years! (Can you believe it? That’s over two decades of life!). Now, even though I’m no longer a registered student, I think learning never stops in life. As the saying goes: Learning is a life long journey. In the last couple of years or so, and greatly “thanks” to the pandemic, I had more time than usual to read. And I be ..read more

The Importance of Exercise with Chronic Illness

Greetings readers, Welcome back to the blog! I would never have imagined, there’d be a day for me to write about and promote exercise…like, me?! Talking about exercise?! Who am I kidding! But here we are. All jokes aside. In today’s blog, I hope to share with you, about the importance of exercise with chronic illness. Now, I’m not a medical professional, and I’m not a trainer or an exercise expert. In fact, I’m still a (relatively) newbie to exercise as a chronically ill person, just doing my best. And, the sole purpose of this blog, is to share with you my journey, thoughts and experiences. A ..read more

The Side of Being Disabled that You Don’t Often See

Greetings readers, Welcome back to the blog! Disability and (chronic)illness can be visible and invisible. Disability and (chronic) illness can be stable and fluid. More often, it is less visible, and more fluid. At least, this is true for me. In today’s blog, I hope to shed light on the side of (me) being disabled that you don’t often see. Keep these points in mind before reading: this is not a full list, but only some that I can (currently) remember and are important. I’m mostly sharing my experiences and my thoughts. What’s being shared in this blog may (or may not) resemble your experience ..read more
