It was a picturesque day at Weymouth Golf Club, situated conveniently close to the town center. The warm welcome, coupled with the stunning setting and excellent setup, set the stage for a memorable event. From the clubhouse balcony overlooking the first and 18th tees, putting green, and practice area, spectators could take in all the action unfolding below. Back at the Oxfordshire Golf Club, a mild yet windy Thursday marked the start of April with 182 golfers teeing off on the challenging 6300-yard par 72 course designed by Rees Jones. Initially, tough conditions greeted the players, with only a handful managing to make the turn under par. However, as the day progressed, scores began to improve as players found their rhythm.
