The Barnstable County, Massachusetts, dredging program recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. The county, which owns and operates three Ellicott® brand cutter suction dredges, has removed almost 2.4 million cubic yards of material during more than 300 dredging projects. Ellicott has just delivered and started up a Series 370 Dragon® dredge for a shrimp farm in Mexico’s Pacific Coast. The Ellicott 370 dredge includes a 12” x 10” pump, installed power of 416 HP and can reach a maximum dredging depth of 10 meters (33 ft).
