CDMCS 5th Annual Leadership in Safety Awards NOMINATION GUIDLINES
CDMCS recognizes outstanding safety leadership in the dredging and marine construction industry by making four awards each year: one for a company, one for a private sector individual, one for a government individual, and one for USACE district and one for a dredge crew or team. (government or commercial)

CDMCS members and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) convened in person and virtually in record numbers earlier this month in Savannah to discuss the state of safety for the dredging and marine construction industry. USACE gave an excellent summary of safety incident trends over the past five years, and Dr. Lakhmir Chawla returned for another engaging talk on COVID-19 with his predictions for the months ahead.

Washington, DC – The Council for Dredging and Marine Construction Safety (CDMCS) is pleased to announce that the Maryland Port Administration (MPA), Port of Baltimore, officially joined the organization and welcomes its active participation and partnership in advancing safety.
