There’s no stopping Goose these days.
The Connecticut-based indie/psychedelic band is riding a seemingly endless wave of momentum that has vaulted the group to the top of the heap when it comes to the “jam band” scene, with an incredible live show to back the hype.
In addition to traversing much of North America in recent weeks with marathon concerts — many of them live streamed to the masses — Goose also released the Undecided EP, a set of four songs that frequently pop up on the band’s ever-changing set list.
The tracks were recorded in the same album sessions that spawned the Dripfield albu ..read more

This past Sunday night, Connecticut-based indie/psychedelic/jam band Goose carried its ongoing Dripfield tour through the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
The tour, which is named after the band’s recent album and has seen sold-out runs through many venues ( including the vaunted Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado), this outing has been a bit of a breakthrough for the group, which also recently announced a fall run with the Trey Anastasio Band.
Goose is certainly making itself noticed in the community, and this was reflected at the Greek. The vibe was laid-back and celebratory, with many in atten ..read more

On June 24, Connecticut-based indie/psychedelic/jam band Goose released its latest studio album, Dripfield.
If the use of the phrase “jam band” above drove you to click away from this website, WAIT — stick around, because Goose has a certain sensibility to its songwriting that should win over even the most staunch resistors of that genre of music.
Sure, the band plays marathon, three-hour-plus live gigs and counts Phish’s Trey Anastasio as a friend and collaborator (as he guested with Goose at Radio City Music Hall in June), but there’s something about the songs themselves that cross over, alm ..read more

For twenty years, Grampas Grass has been a vital and beloved part of Southern California’s active jam band scene. In a local music ecosystem long-anchored by world-class cover bands Cubensis, WTFB (“What The Fuck Band”) and Jerry’s Middle Finger, Grampas Grass stands out alongside Groovesession as the scene’s two most prominent original music projects.
Grampas Grass’s most recent release is The Devil’s Inn, their outstanding fourth album and follow-up to 2017’s deeply satisfying Greener. In lieu of celebrating The Devil’s Inn with a live release show, Grampas Grass opted to produce and release ..read more
