I have been away for a tumultuous 12 months. I made a lot of changes. I changed career, I removed my birth control, and I very nearly ended my 9 years relationship. I met someone new, discovered the polyamory is actually more expensive (despite my naive blog on the topic) and strongly considered moving out on my own. January is already over, how does this keep happening. I read a theory that as you age, time seems to accelerate. When we encounter novel things, we form strong memories about them, but when we encounter common things, our recall is weaker.
