The IRF is looking for sponsors for the 2024 World Championship to work together with us to make this an unforgettable event. We are hoping to secure high level category sponsorships that allow us to both reduce overall cost of participation and elevate and professionalize the event. As such, we have set up a Request for Proposal where potential sponsors can express their interest and submit a bid to be a part of Worlds 2024. We are asking our community to help share this opportunity with brands that may be interested in participating and would be a good fit. If you are part of a company or ha ..read more

Though we are remised to announce that Martin will be leaving the board, we are excited to add Rafael Rosales Silveira from Roundnet Brasil. Martin Sigren has been an invaluable team member this past year and we can't thank him enough for his contribution to the IRF. Growing the sport of roundnet will still be a priority for Martin, but he also has other passions in life which currently require his time and dedication. Currently, as captain of the Chilean National Rugby team he is working to lead them to their first ever World Cup. While his presence will be missed, we are excited to have a ne ..read more

As an organization that is made up of National Governing Bodies, the determination of NGBs will establish the ruleset that governs official international competition, such as the Word Championships. We are working to put those procedures in place and look forward to determining the process alongside our ..read more

There is a forecast of rain on and off over the course of the four days of the World Championship. Currently, thunderstorms are limited and the intensity of the rain is relatively low. The weather won’t be ideal, but based on the prediction we believe that it will not significantly interfere with the event. Here are a few things to keep in mind:  This is an outdoor event and you should be prepared for rain. Make sure to bring proper clothing to keep you comfortable while playing and in between games. The IRF will be more lenient on jersey rules in non-streamed matches to allow players ..read more
