By Louise Jobe Magistrate Fatou Darboe of the Brikama Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 30 April granted bail to the farmers detained based on the instruction of the Chief of Foni Jarrol. They were arraigned by the police and charged. They all pleaded not guilty. During a session between the president of the republic and print media heads, The Point publisher and proprietor indicated that the company had since paid the D50,000 required to acquire state land as a policy established by the government but has not received any response.
