The Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003 (CCCFA), which governs banks, finance companies and lenders in New Zealand, has been significantly updated. There are now new requirements which come into effect on the 1st of December this year. All lenders are making the changes now so they can be ready for 1 December.
