Can anyone post pictures of a Boomer 35 (or LS R3039) under the hood? I recently bought a 2011 with a broken grill so I’m fixing it up and remedying some of the past owner’s fixes. It would be helpful to see the location of coolant lines, fuel lines, and the like as well as the underside of the hood. The front hood cross members hits the upper radiator hose so something isn’t right, but it’s been welded on before.
Thanks in advance.

Anyone know of a steering assist kit or power steering kit for a 1700? I’m aware of the Jackson but $1900 is a hard pill to swallow. My new box that I got from kumar bros last 4 months and broke ..read more

Monday morning- Noticed a car down in the ditch after having slid off the dirt road, practically right out front of my house. A woman was standing outside the car while a man in a yellow Dodge 4x4 pickup was working on hooking a chain to it. LOOKS LIKE A JOB FOR TRACTORMAN. With coffee cup in hand, I drive the tractor down to the scene. Turns out the guy is the woman's brother and lived just a few streets over from me. The woman (about 20) states she was doing 35 and the car just slid off...

It occurred to me recently there are situations wherein the time associated with attaching my fx85 winch to my tractor to pull out a log or other object makes me just forget the job. Ditto getting chain or wire rope and attaching to back of tractor and pulling. What about a Warn or other brand winch attached to the front of tractor?? Has anyone ever done this? Seems it could also be useful in extricating oneself from a precarious situation.
Thank you in advance,

Hello everyone,
Just thought I'd drop a line and warn you other owners.
117 hours.
Apparently, while moving some brush, I caught one of the steering lines and pulled or pushed it up and back into the crank pully. Since there are two distinct wear marks, I would say this is not the first time, just was lucky before.
Needless to say, the hose was not designed to resist that type of abrasion.
This is a flex hose about 14" long, pair of them go from the cylinder, up over the front axle...

Looks like I mght need to change the filter on my hydraulic steering.
It's on my TC29.
The best price I found for a replacement filter/resivour is no less then $100.
Has anyone removed this setup and put a different system on there tractor?
That will use a less expensive filter ..read more
