I recently installed new ram into my laptop, and have been noticing some major issues since. Mainly, the framerate is not great in most games and especially after about 10 to 20 minutes of playing, it just plummets even though my temps are fine, and my cpu and gpu usage aren't above usual. Secondly, which is really annoying to me, is that every time my frames drop, the audio starts acting really weird, every second or so the audio will consistently cut out for a tiny bit of time. I've tried...

All - my Dad lives in an assisted living facility and has wireless internet to his desktop PC. An issue that came up a few months ago has popped up again; everything works except he gets error messages when he tries to go to his Kaiser health account, or CBS news. Last time, it resolved itself. Anybody have an idea? I completely removed his AVG internet security just to rule that out, and no joy. Thanks,

Hello everyone,
so I just built my new pc and enabled XMP profile, it takes more than a minute for it to post. When I disabled XMP it was probably 5-6 seconds faster. While the PC is booting there's a yellow light on my motherboard for the vram. It doesn't blink or anything, just a solid light. The light turns off and the pc boots after a minute or something. I contacted MSI and they said to do a CMOS reset. I did it but still nothing changed.
Specs:
Mobo: MSI B650 Gaming plus wifi
CPU...

I've been wanting to plug in my old SSD to access older files into my new PC, but for some reason it only appears in the BIOS and windows doesn't detect it, not even in disk gestionary.
I've tried updating my pilotes for it but everything is up to date.
No youtube video has given me anything that works.
The PC i'm using is an OMEN 40L and the SSD is a crucial BX500 2.5 480GB
If anyone have any lead please respond!

Hello
I just purchased a new PC and Im experiencing a worrying issue. Its happened approx 6 times now in space of 3 days and 5 of those were whilst gaming however Im sure its happened just browsing too. The screen will go black and the mouse and keyboard will switch off as if the whole system has died however the PC unit itself will still be running. It wont come back on unless I hold down the power button and hard reboot the machine.
Ive posted the PC specs below and I "beleive" the...

My Gaming PC crashes constantly. It can go like 4 hours fine sometimes, and other times just a few minutes. I can't define what drives the crashes, I could be streaming, gaming, oe just listening to Spotify.
Not sure what originally caused it, but here is what I've done so far:
Reinstalled a clean windows 10
Updated all drivers
Swapped out to a new M.2 SSD, repeated steps 1 & 2
Swapped out the RTX 3060 for a functioning RTX 3070ti
Ran diagnostics on the 32gb DDR4 Ram -...

Hi All,
The trackpad on my laptop probably became indented because of a webcam cover I had once which must have pressed onto it when the laptop was closed.
I have replaced the trackpad (new one in image) - still the same issue. I can move the cursor and click with a light tap, but the proper tactile "click" does not work. There is too much play between the trackpad and case, but at the same time the trackpad does not really move up and down to click, so something like click & drag is not...
