What ho one and all, Have an HP LazerJet 4050N, had it a long time and it still works well. Recently there is a definite smell of ozone around it, more so when printing, but when off, the smell still lingers. I have given if a de-dust but still the aroma. Of course, there could be another culprit, the fans in the computer. But there is not really any aroma around the computer. Any ideas on how to cure would be gratefully taken on board. Once in a while, out of nowhere, I get a popup saying that I don't have permission to view a message, in my OUtlook 2019. At that point, no matter what message I select, won't display. I have to restart the computer (restarting the program is not enough). This happened today, and I have restarted my computer several times without success. I tried to start Outlook in safe mode, and it would not work. I searched online and I saw a suggestion to "repair", but I don't see that option anywhere. I am using Outlook 2019 with Windows 10. I have a 200 min mp4 video on my desktop of windows 10, It is 3.3,gb in size. I only need 15 min of this video for a project I?m editing. I use chimp clip on windows 10 to partion this clip ( 15 min) back to my desktop in .mp4 . The size of this newly edited video is 2.3 Gb ! The math doesn?t sound right. What ho one and all, I have a number of media files on my computer which I usually copy to a USB thumb-drive to watch on a different, larger screen. I planned to copy something a few days ago and having inserted the drive, unusually, a message appeared; stupidly, I hit the Yes button, then realized that the message related to formatting the drive. Not intending to do that, I immediately pulled the drive out. Now of course, the drive is either not showing in Explorer, or when inserted, I am asked if I want to format it. Good (morning, afternoon, evening)(pick one) I have an unusual situation and need some help.... I have a Panasonic Toughbook CF-27 (mark 1 if it's important) that I am using to program some old two-way radios... It's running MS-DOS 6.22 with no add-ons or mods. The CF-27 has a slot that supports either a floppy or a optical drive. I have a DVDRW drive in the slot (a CF-VDM293 that consists of a UJ-841 laptop drive and a CF-27 slot adapter. My HP Officejet 6700 printer will not link to my HP PC via the new Hitron Model CODA4589 router that was just installed by Cogeco. I contacted Cogeco tech and after 1 1/2 hrs they gave up and told me to go to the HP site. After doing all that was recommended, still no link.
